Pine Grove Potable Water Tank
Warren's 301-01 epoxy provided a timesaving solution for Pine Grove Association's failing potable water tank
The Pine Grove Association in Canaan, Connecticut was dealing with severe corrosion issues all throughout their steel potable water tank. They needed a fast-acting solution to avoid costly downtime for their water operations. They contracted A&W Coatings to rehabilitate the failing tank with Warren’s NSF approved 301-01 epoxy coating.
The A&W crew prepped the tank’s surface by water blasting at 5,000 psi followed by sandblasting. Once the A&W crew cleaned the surface, they discovered that the tank’s bottom was severely rusted. E-glass was applied to these areas for extra support. A&W Coatings sprayed 150 mils of our 301-01 epoxy along the interior of the tank. The crew successfully completed the job in two days, maintaining Pine Grove Association’s goal to minimize disruption.
